Ron Miller Books
Ron Miller was born in East Tennessee in the middle of the last century …actually a couple of years left of that. He moved toLake City, FL. at the age of eight and grew up there. His first two books were inspired by his adopted hometown and his birth state.
Ron is proud of his southern roots and the southern way of life. “Of course,” he says, “there ain’t nothing wrong with being a Yankee, after all somebody’s gotta live up there! Except for the humidity and mosquitoes, I guess the south is the most perfect place on earth to live.” He now resides in Yulee, FL.
CALLIE KINSER OF BRUSH CREEK
My Uncle Corbit lived to be 100 and 4 months. My mother, Callie, is still living at this writing. She celebrated her 102 birthday on September 11, 2014. They grew up in East Tennessee in the farming community of Brush Creek. They told me stories of their growing up years, and they were quite interesting to say the least. A sibling rivalry, a murder in a church/one room school, and crops saved from a drought by innovative thinking, are but a few things that were combined to create an intricate plot. Add a mysterious girl named Willow and the plot takes on a new twist that will have you guessing until the end.

HORSE BONES, 12 TALES OF SECRETS, GHOST, AND LEGENDS
Strange things happened to me while I was growing up in Lake City, Florida; some very frightening, and all unexplainable … at least to me. My oldest daughter, Lori, experienced some bizarre things during her growing up years, too. Yes, weirdness definitely runs in the family. Some people use more colorful adjectives to describe us. Maybe they’re right. We never claimed to be normal anyhow! Seven of the stories in Horse Bones, 12 Tales of Secrets, Ghosts, and Legends give an account of those unexplained happenings. Read it and maybe you can explain things that I have never been able to. I dare you! Twenty four eerie illustrations by Paul Massing tell the stories another way. The illustrations are amazing!
